Trumpet Revelation
Revelation Chapter 7 finds God protecting His people from the revelations
to come with the Trumpet activities. After God’s rescue of
the Earth, after man’s folly, there is no doubt that Jesus Christ
exists and He is the Son of God. Is this where the Nation of
Israel becomes a Christian Nation? Will their job be to bring the
word of God to all the people of the Earth? Here God puts a seal
on the forehead of all his servants. Do you think it will be long
before Satan marks his followers? God marks 144,000 individuals
from the twelve tribes of Israel as his servants.
John saw a great multitude that no one could count from every nation,
tribe, people and language. They were standing before the throne
of God and Christ. They were dressed in white robes signifying
faithfulness to God through their years. Do you recognize
yourself in this multitude? These are the Saints that have been
gathered unto God. Are these the Saints that were harvested when
the Earth was destroyed?
In Revelation Chapter 8 Christ opens the seventh seal. As the
seventh seal is opened the Trumpet revelations are started. Even
before the first trumpet is sounded the prayers of the saints went up
before God. The angel with the golden censer took fire from the
altar and hurled it to Earth. The angel’s action caused
peals of thunder, rumbling, flashes of lighting and an
earthquake. Remember the believers have been harvested from the
earth and all that is left are the new believers because of what they have
witnessed in the rescue of the earth by Jesus Christ. The believers have been marked by God to protect
them from the Judgments.
As the first Trumpet is sounded there came hail and fire mixed with
blood, and it was hurled down to Earth. A third of the Earth was
burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass
was burned up. Notice here that a third of things are burned up;
whereas, in the seal revelations a quarter of things were
destroyed. So the trumpet revelations are only about eight percent
worse than the seal revelations as far as what part of the Earth is
involved. However; these revelations are more severe.
When the second trumpet sounded a huge mountain was thrown into the
sea. One third of the sea turned into blood. One third of
the creatures of the sea died. One third of the ships were
destroyed.
When the third trumpet sounded a great star blazing like a torch fell
from the sky onto one third of the rivers and springs. The waters
turned bitter and many people died from the bitter water.
When the fourth trumpet sounded one third of the sun, moon, and stars
turned dark. A third of the day and night was without light.
An Eagle called out “Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the
earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other
three angels!”
In Chapter 9 when the fifth trumpet sounded a star fell from the sky to
the Earth. The star was given the key to the Abyss. When
the Abyss was opened smoke rose as if from a gigantic furnace.
The sun and sky was darkened by the smoke. Locusts came out of
the smoke and were given power like that of a scorpion. These
locusts were told not to harm the grass or any plant or tree.
They were told to harm only people who did not have the seal of God on
their foreheads. They did not have the power to kill but only to
torture those without the seal of God for five Months. The agony
they suffered was like that of a sting of a scorpion when it strikes
people. During this five Month period people without the seal of
God will seek death but will not find death. They had as King
over them the angel of the Abyss.
The four angels bound at the great river Euphrates in Chapter 7 were
released to kill one third of mankind “The number of the mounted
troops was two hundred million…” That number of
mounted troops suggests a much larger population and economy than exist
on the Earth as we know it. There must have been significant
growth in the size of the Earth, population, and economy to support
that number of mounted troops.
John gives a description of the vision he saw that was enough to give
one nightmares. As bad as that was with the huge number of deaths
the rest of mankind that was not killed did not repent. They
continued to worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone
and wood. They did not repent of their murders, magic arts,
sexual immorality or thefts.
In Chapter 10 another mighty angel comes down from heaven. This
angel has a little scroll lying open in his hand. When this angel
shouts the seven thunders spoke. John was instructed to not write
what the seven thunders said.
This angel raised the right hand to heaven and swore “There will
be no more delay!” At the end of Chapter 9 we were told no
one repented from their sins even with the severe torment that was
inflicted on the people that did not have the seal of God on their
forehead. God knows there will be no more conversion to followers
of Christ; so it is time to end the reign of evil on the earth.
John was instructed to take the scroll from the angel and eat it.
It tasted as sweet as honey when he ate it; but, it turned sour in his
stomach. John was told he must Prophecy again about many people,
nations, languages and kings.
