Bowl Revelation
In Revelation Chapter 15 we are introduced to the song of Moses.
“Great and marvelous are your deeds,
Lord God Almighty.
Just and true are your ways,
King of the ages.
Who will not hear you, O Lord,
and bring glory to your name?
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come and worship before you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed.”
We are introduced to the seven angels that will bring the seven bowl judgments.
Chapter 16 completes the bowl judgments; God’s justice is swift
and complete. Remember these are total judgments; no part of the
earth will be spared.
The first bowl causes ugly and painful sores to break out on the people who have the mark of the beast and worship his image.
The seconds bowl causes the sea to turn to blood and every living thing in the sea dies.
The third bowl causes all the springs of water to become blood.
The fourth bowl causes the sun to scorch people with fire; but, the people refused to repent and glorify God.
The fifth bowl caused the kingdom of the beast to be plunged into darkness; but, they refused to repent of what they had done.
The sixth bowl caused the great river Euphrates to dry up and Satan’s forces prepare for battle.
The seventh bowl announced “It is done.” There came
flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a sever
earthquake. Every island fled away and the mountains could not be
found. From the sky huge hailstones of about 100 pounds fell upon
men. And they cursed God because the plague was so terrible.
Even at this extreme there were no conversions to Christ. I am sure glad we will not be exposed to these extremes.
