What do you believe?
Have you questioned your belief system lately?
Paul tells us over and over that we are saved by grace; it is not what
we do for God it is about what God has already done for us.
However when we look at James we are informed that faith without works is dead.
Are these two in conflict? No! They are just expressing the
same thing in different words. If you truly believe you will
change the way you live.
While Jesus was on Earth He went about doing good deeds to all that
believed. How about you; are you following His example?
John is not so tolerant: The one who says, “I have come to know
Him,” without keeping His commands, is a liar, and the truth is
not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly in him the love of
God is perfected. This is how we know we are in Him: the one who
says he remains in Him should walk just as He worked. (1 John 2:4-6)
I warned you it would be an obnoxious little letter about your belief system.
